However, others will still want their children to study at home or be homeschooled. All they need is just buy homeschool curriculum text books.

Dating back in 2001, more or less one million children had gone homeschooling in United States. And that population increased in year 2012. How much more if that statistic had been updated this year? Perhaps it had already surpassed the two million populations. But have you ever wondered why parents choose homeschooling for their sons and daughters? Is there someone you know that is also in that situation? Or were you also homeschooled before?

As for the reasons, many can really be stated. But for the top one, parents definitely wanted to prevent their children from being bullied by their classmates or by some individuals at their schools. As a parent, you cannot stomach it seeing your baby being hurt by others. Furthermore, you cannot just go inside the classrooms to watch your kid for that is prohibited at schools. For that reason, humans had discovered homeschooling.

With that, they discovered homeschooling. It allows parents to protect those children from hazards and bullying. It allows them to watch and take care of them even more. But is that method worth it or reliable? Before you could come up with a decision to have your homeschooled, better know the pros and also its cons first.

Protection and safety are really assured in homeschooling. You will not worry and get stressed out at the thought of your offspring being physically and emotionally hurt by other people. Sometimes your child cannot tell you that he was being bullied because you might be too busy. With this, you could spend a lot of time with them.

Furthermore, you can manage his schedules well. If the boy still has practice at his piano schedules, you have the opportunity to modify the schedules which most schools could not make. The child also got the pace of learning and you may select a curriculum for him to focus.

Like any other things, this too has disadvantages. It takes a strong commitment to do this. Therefore, you must give up your work for teaching your daughter or son. It would be financially costly because aside that you will be jobless, you also will need some educational materials such as books for them.

And for the children, it might also cause some problem with them. Studying at home means that they may not have some opportunities to interact with others. Their interpersonal skills will not improve in that way. Furthermore, they might miss some fun activities at schools like field trips, camping, creative presentations, sports and others.

Now do you want that method for them? The decision still lies on you. Always select the best.
